A Home for the Hub

Background: Microsoft needed a special case to protect and present their new Surface Hub in its pre-launch UK-wide tour around their reseller network. The Hub is being launched in April 2016. They needed a flight case that would not only ensure that the Hub would not be damaged on its extensive travels, but that would also provide an elegant and ergonomic way of showcasing the technology.

Solution: P&M Packing designed and manufactured a bespoke flight case, 1610mm long by 1167mm high by 500mm wide, with a built-in electronic riser to house and display the Hub demo units. This represents a new combination of technologies for P&M and similar flight cases can be tailored to specific requirements as superb solutions for demonstration and promotional machines for educational, conferencing and exhibition purposes.
